The rates listed are for one interpreter and are defined as one-day rates for 8 hours of work between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (1 hour break, up to 7 hours of actual work) and half-day rates for 4 hours or less between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

If the client wishes the interpreter to stay with the client during the interpreter's break time, an extension fee will be charged separately.
(Example: If the customer wishes to spend the break time with the interpreter during the physical examination)

The start and end times are in 30-minute increments.
(Example: a start time of 10:15 a.m. means that the service has started at 10:00 a.m.; an end time of 4:45 p.m. means that the service has ended at 5:00 p.m.)

Extension fees are charged in 30-minute increments.
(An invoice will be emailed to you at a later date)

Separate estimates will be provided for work that begins before 8:00 a.m. or ends after 6:00 p.m.

If you wish to meet with the interpreter more than 5 minutes prior to the service start time, an extra 30 minutes will be charged.

When interpreting terms that are not generally known to the public, such as state-of-the-art treatments, or terms not found in dictionaries, we ask that you send us materials that confirm the content of these terms in advance before the translating service. Please understand that if you do not provide us with such materials in advance, we may not be able to ensure the accuracy of the interpretation.
Please mail or email your materials at least one week in advance. A4 documents of three pages or more (12-point font) may be subject to an additional translation fee.

Simultaneous interpretation will be estimated separately.

For simultaneous interpreting, two interpreters may be assigned to a project if the time commitment exceeds 4 hours.

An additional 10% fee will be added for service on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays in Japan.
